I have only looked at the demo online but am impressed with the animation which I believe will help students. However, it would be good if when using the pencil the program would not let you start writing at the bottom of the line but forced you to start at the top or the dot. Writing from the bottom up is such a hard habit to break with some students. Thanks

It definitely needs a feature where the animation will play continuously without the teacher having to manually start it over and over.

Definitely good for basics. I wish there were some activities built in for children to do, other than just basic letter formation (much like the activities in the workbooks). For better or for worse, kids love computer games - some activities would give it a "game" feel.

It is great if you are using a laptop, but I have an iPad and iPhone and it will not work on either of these because they do not use adobe so I have to carry around my heavy laptop. I sure wish that they was some other program they could use that would be compatible with iPhone and iPad.

I love the HWT Digital Teaching Tools! It has made teaching the program even better. My students can hardly wait to start on their daily handwriting practice.

I have been waiting for something like the digital program. I love your books, but not being able to find them local or on Amazon has been an issue. These are two ideas that I have, in order to improve the program : 1. The program should talk to the children as it forms the letters. 2. Instead of using your mouse to "write" the letter, have a choice of wood blocks to form the letters. Your program uses those wood curved/straight letters to form letters. It would seem appropriate to also use this online. The mouse is way too unreliable to form anything legible. It is actually almost a set back. I really love that you also teach cursive, as this is one of the books we do not own yet.

Great product that is very user friendly and holds the kids' attention! If I could change one thing, it would be to add audio to the description of the letter formation but I do that as we practice together anyway!

I love the spelling and vocabulary sheets. I was interested in making paragraph worksheets, this program allows only for brief sentences. That left me lacking what I needed from this program for our copy work. I also believe the last line on the sentence generator should be functional, as of now it does not allow for text. This worksheet maker was a brilliant idea and something I need. This is a great start, keep making improvements and I will be back to purchase it.

I love the tools. I find it hard to "find" the link to get into them. I realize I can bookmark them, but sometimes I want to access them from a different computer and spend too much time looking for how to get to them again.
