I serve as an Occupational Therapist in the school system and at the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital – Center for Disabilities and Development. I am Level 1 Certified through HWT and offer private handwriting services along with running a summer handwriting camp at the University of Iowa. I am a member of the Autism Resource Team and have been trained in the various components of TEACCH. I also provide consultative services to the pediatric bio-behavioral clinics at the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital. I am trained in and utilize Constraint Induced Movement Therapy, Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation for Children, Therapeutic Listening, and Interactive Metronome among others. I graduated from St. Ambrose University with a Master of Occupational Therapy and hold a Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University. Prior to becoming an occupational therapist I served in a variety of positions within the aviation industry. I currently reside in Iowa City, IA with my lovely wife (Heidi) and two VERY active boy’s Noah (6) and Ian (3).
